Ronald Steckel / President & Chief Executive Officer

Ronald Steckel joined Pulmonx in August 2007 and has served as Chief Executive Officer and President and as a member of Pulmonx's board of directors since that time. Prior to joining Pulmonx, Mr. Steckel worked at FoxHollow Technologies where he held the positions of Senior Vice President, Operations and Research & Development and, most recently, Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his joining FoxHollow in 2004, Mr. Steckel held various executive and senior operations positions at Bacchus Vascular, RITA Medical Systems and Metra Biosystems. Mr. Steckel holds a B.S. degree in biological sciences from Blackburn University and an MBA from Lake Forest College.

Niyazi Beyhan / Vice President, Research and Development

Niyazi Beyhan joined Pulmonx in April 2007 and has served as Vice President, Research & Development since that time. Prior to joining Pulmonx, Mr. Beyhan worked at Circle Medical Device where he held the position of Vice President, Research & Development. Prior to his joining Circle Medical Device in 2005, Mr. Beyhan held various executive and senior-level positions at Manoa Medical, Xoft microTube, Advanced Stent Technologies, and Boston Scientific. Mr. Beyhan holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from METU in Ankara, Turkey and an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri.

Roberta Hines / Interim Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs

Roberta Hines has over 27 years of experience in the medical device industry relating to regulatory affairs, quality assurance and clinical research in Class II/III devices, including, implantable cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, orthopedic devices, interventional cardiology and endovascular devices, combination drug/device products, and various ancillary accessories and equipment, including software and hardware driven devices. She is experienced in all phases of clinical study planning and implementation (study/case report form/database design; investigator recruitment, contract negotiation, device/site training, case support activities, and data collection/review/analysis.) She has coordinated US and international clinical study activities with multinational teams of independent contractors, field engineers and multinational Clinical Research Organizations. She is very well versed in Food and Drug regulations, has excellent relationships with FDA staff, and serves as a liaison between the Agency and medical device companies.

Richard Zimmer III / Vice President, Market Development

Richard Zimmer joined Pulmonx in December 2007 and has served as Vice President, Market Development since that time. Prior to joining Pulmonx, Mr. Zimmer worked at FoxHollow Technologies where he held the position of Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales manager and, most recently, Senior Vice President, Sales. Prior to his joining FoxHollow in 2003, Mr. Zimmer held various sales positions at Intra-Therapeutics and Mallinckrodt Medical, Inc. Mr. Zimmer holds a B.A. in Government from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Daniel George / Director, Finance

Daniel George joined Pulmonx as a financial consultant in October 2007. Mr. George is currently providing financial guidance to a variety of companies in the medical device space. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Director of Finance for FoxHollow Technologies. Prior to his joining FoxHollow in 2004, he acted as a consultant and advisor on the newly enacted Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Prior to this, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a member of the audit & assurance practice. Mr. George holds a B.S degree in both finance and accounting from California State University, Long Beach.

Harbant Grewal / Director, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance

Harbant Grewal joined Pulmonx in February 2007 and has served as the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance since that time. Prior to joining Pulmonx, Mr. Grewal worked for R2 Technology as the Director of Quality Assurance. Mr. Grewal has also held management positions at Tyco Healthcare and Broncus Technologies. Mr. Grewal holds a B.S. in industrial management and engineering technology from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India and a M.S. in Quality Assurance/Engineering from California State University, Northridge.

Carol Anne Yarbrough / Director, Clinical Affairs

Carol Anne Yarbrough joined Pulmonx in August 2007 and has served as the Director of Clinical Affairs since that time. Prior to joining Pulmonx, Ms. Yarbrough worked at Aptus Endosystems where she held the position of Director, Clinical Affairs. Ms. Yarbrough also held management positions as Abbott Vascular Devices, Boston Scientific, and Neomend, among others. Ms. Yarbrough holds a B.S. in nursing from the University of Alabama.
